Overview

REPOZ is an immersive stretching arcade that provides Vision Pro users with fun and engaging ways to stretch during their spare time. The app features four tailored games targeting common pain points for modern individuals: the neck, wrists, shoulders, and eyes. Users can achieve the benefits of stretching while enjoying a fun and interactive experience.

My Role

Contributed to managing the whole product. Created game contents, and 3d visuals necessary for 2 stretching games: wrist and eyes. Mostly focused on creating optimized polygon 3d objects and creating the key visuals for advertisement.

Design

App Icon

The design visually started with the alphabet 'Z" from REPOZ, a peculiar and unique letter. To show the feeling of elasticity, the shape was twisted and rotated in a 3 dimentional way. Also, I utlized a variety of colors to convey a fun and vibrant mood of stretching arcade. In detail, the object was divided into multiple faces to reflect an impression of muscle fibers being segmented.

Wrist: Energy Spring and Targets

For the wrist, we wanted to implement the simple stretching of twisting and rotating the wrist repeatedly. In order to do so, the user needed to set their arms still when rotating their wrists to achieve the best stretching experience.

So, we came up with an idea to create a ring, or an energy shooter that would follow the users' fist, and count as the wrist spins. The energy that would pop out would be intuitively the shape of their rotation: springs or so called spirals. For the more fun part, we added targets for users to hit with the energy.

Eyes : Lazy Eyes and Random Thoughts

For the eyes, we wanted to implement the simple stretching of rotating the eyes to wide angles. In order to do so, the user needed to set their neck still when rotating their eyes to achieve the best stretching experience.

So, we came up with an idea to create a ring that would restrict the user's movement of neck or body, and let the eyes do the work. The conceptual lazy eyes would be interrupted if the user moves out of the content too much. Also, the eyes are interrupted easily by random thoughts that come to mind when working. Users would hold and pop those for the eyes. Done for the eyes, good for my eyes!

Branding Video

For the branding video that would be used as promotional material, we needed to create a story of the 4 content symbols. In each scene, it was necessary to not only convey what the objects represent but also adjust the visual details to make the objects feel vividly alive.

After fixing the scenario, I used blender tool to animate them.

Paper goods

For the Apple Developer Academy @POSTECH showcase, we did some extra promotional materials such as posters, brochures, and interaction guidelines to help the viewers fully understand our concept and service. Mainly designed the posters and the interaction guidelines and managed the whole paper goods.
